1989 - Hutch signed on with Ruthless Records with his group Above The Law.
1990 - Above the Law released their first studio album Livin' Like Hustlers on February 22, 1990.
1996 - Hutch and Above the Law parted ways with Ruthless Records
1999 - Hutch released his first studio album as a solo artist titled Executive Decisions through Street Solid Records. Later that year he was recruited by Suge Knight to replace Daz Dillinger as head producer for Ruthless Records.
2004 - Hutch went to jail for drug trafficking.
2008 - Hutch released the album Fresh out the Pen. This was his first album to be released under the name Cold 187um.
2011 - Big Hutch signed "Only God Can Judge Me" through Big Shot Music.
2012 - Hutch signed with Psychoathic Records where he released his album "The Only Solution". The album features Hutch rapping over different instrumentals taken from the Psychopathic Records catalog.
2013 - It was announced that Hutch had left Psychopathic Records due to to poor album sales.
